Lazer Quest in Coley Park

If you have, or know anyone with, kids on holiday today, there's a free Lazer Quest event going on over in Coley Park right this minute. I think it may only be on for another couple of hours, so you'll need to think fast!

For anyone who is has children at a loose end, there will be a free climbing wall this coming Monday morning (August 2nd) at Coley Park between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

It's a service provided for Reading Council by Urban Play Rangers - they have their own website, although it has scant detail about their activities, unfortunately.

The Lazer quest thing was at Arthur Newbery park on Wednesday last week (my older son went to this), and the climbing wall etc will be in Prospect Park this coming Wednesday as again, my children are being taken there as part of their holiday care activities. Lots to do by the sound of it - and all free!

No it's not. We, the tax- and ratepayers fund it.

Not nuffink is free :boo1:

I'm a tax payer too (not only my own but that of my employees too), and if it means children - whether mine or someone elses - get things to do which helps expand their horizons however slightly and gives them a memorable experience, then I'm happy for my tax to be used in such a positive manner :)
